BEW-Umformtechnik GmbH began well over 100 years ago as “Baubeschlag- und Eisenwarenfabrik Westheim GmbH”. Leading companies from the commercial vehicle, car, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, industrial truck, fittings and hydraulics industries as well as mechanical engineering have placed their trust in us for decades in the production of highly stressed forged parts, from heat-treated forged blanks to fully machined components in raw, pre-machined or ready-to-install processing.
With around 200 employees, we use our many years of industry experience and state-of-the-art technologies to develop forward-looking and economical solutions. Quality and precision have the highest priority at BEW and determine our processes: with the latest techniques in massive forming as well as innovative implementations in component optimization and the use of new materials.
Independent thinking, an independent opinion and constructive ideas combine the knowledge and skills of many specialists in a permanent workforce. We use in-house qualification measures to promote technical expertise and adapt it to current requirements. The next generation of employees start a promising future in our modern training workshop.
